As part of its Centenary year celebrations, SOAS University of London is delighted to invite prospective students from Hong Kong to an inspirational and informative evening, to celebrate SOAS’ past and to envision its future.
The evening will highlight the benefits of choosing an education at one of the world’s most diverse and international universities; one which equips students with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in a competitive global environment.
SOAS’ unique curricular combinations offer students a well-rounded education in a wide range of subjects. Degrees are available in: Law; Politics and International Relations; Finance and Management; Economics; Development Studies; Anthropology; and Languages.
Alongside its undergraduate and postgraduate courses taught on campus, SOAS is also the largest provider of distance learning courses in the University of London’s International Programmes, with more than 4000 students studying in 160 countries.
Four SOAS subjects are ranked in the top 50 in the world; with another 11 subject areas scoring highly in the QS World University Rankings (2016). Equally impressive is the teaching and learning provision: SOAS are ranked first in London and have one of the best student:staff ratios (11:1) in the UK.
The reception takes place on Mon 19 September from 7.00PM to 9.00PM. The venue is the British Council, 3 Supreme Court Road, Hong Kong.
The evening will begin with a welcome and opening remarks by Baroness Valerie Amos CH, Director of SOAS, will include an overview of programmes by Susan Roth, Director of International Programmes, and will conclude with closing remarks and a Q&A session.
