About me
My role involves collating data and statistics on refugees, returnees inside Iraq; Analysing and monitoring of the current displacement of 800,000 + Iraqis; Producing reports for International Community, National Government and Producing policy frameworks for conflict resolution
I am also involved in the protection and program issues relating to refugees.
I found the vacancy on the UN website. The interview process was tough, involving two sets of interviews, a dozen application forms and an extended piece of analysis writing.
I think the key factors that helped me get the jobs were my degree choice, prior experience and my language skills. I speak Arabic, Hebrew, German and some French. The UN like one or two other European languages.
