MA in Comparative Literature

The MA in Comparative Literature has broadened my understanding of the global field of literature, and the various problematics that underlie traditional theoretical tools used to analyse literature. This course has challenged me to question my preconceived notions of binaries and absolutes, allowing me to develop a more nuanced interpretation of different literary traditions. The rigour of the compulsory theory module, as well as the flexibility to choose among regional or country-specific, film-based or text-based modules both in the traditional and contemporary period also adds to the holistic nature of the course. It was, on the whole, an extremely enriching experience for me.
