TOTUM NUS card

What is the TOTUM NUS card?

The National Union of Students (NUS) have produced a student card designed for people studying, but who are not members of a traditional Student Union. This card can be used as proof that you are a student and enable you to benefit from a range of student discounts.

What are the benefits?

With the TOTUM card you are entitled to a range of discounts with some leading brands, such as Amazon.co.uk and Apple. A list of the discounts and offers is available on the NUS Website.

While the discounts and offers with the TOTUM card are generally UK-based, if you join, you can also upgrade your membership with ISIC. The ISIC upgrade turns your TOTUM card into an International Student Identity Card, giving you access to over 40,000 discounts worldwide. Find out more at the ISIC website.

How much does it cost?

The TOTUM card costs £12 for one year.

How do I apply?

To check your eligibility and apply for a TOTUM card, please email cedepadmin@soas.ac.ukstating the following:

  • Full name
  • VLE number (six-digit)
  • Programme of study

Once we have verified your eligibility, we will send you a unique code via email. This code will enable you to apply for the card by visiting the TOTUM section of the NUS wesbite.
