Private Sector

It may be worth considering living in the private sector, rents can start from as low as £90 per week for a room in a family home and £120 per week for a room in a shared flat or house. To find out about living in the private sector please have a look at the Private Accommodation section of our website.
SOAS also works with the University of London Housing Service who manage a private sector housing list and produce a Housing Guide. If you don’t have anyone to share with they also manage a flatsharing board where you can find other SOAS or University of London students to share with.
