LLB students may choose up to 30 Credits at level 5, and 30 Credits at level 6 (up to 60 Credits in total across their programme) from modules offered within another SOAS department (open option). The availability of optional/elective modules may vary in a given academic session due to factors such as staff absence and student numbers. In their final year LLB Students may choose one 30 Credit LLB module at level 5 or level 6 taught at another University of London Law School: (King’s College, LSE, QM, UCL and Birkbeck provided that a similar module is not taught at SOAS).
Please note: Students have the responsibility to check with the relevant department that the open option module chosen is at the correct level of study (level 5 or level 6 only) for their programme.
