A maximum of five hours’ supervision will be given throughout the term/year.

The module involves writing a 5,000 word essay in English on an approved topic in Korean. It provides an opportunity for independent study or research separate from the ISP. The essay will be supervised by a named teacher.

Method of assessment

One 5,000 word essay (in English) (100%).

This is a term 1 module; therefore you should aim to submit your assignment by day 1 of term 2.  However some students may wish to work towards this in term 2. The final deadline, after which you will be penalised for late submission, is Friday week 1, term 3.
