Workload

This module will be taught over 10 weeks with 5 hours classroom contact per week

Scope and syllabus

The module provides teaching and learning of higher intermediate level Arabic language. It covers a wide variety of texts coverning literature, politics, religion, science, etc.

Teaching will cover reading, analysing, writing, listening and speaking.

Method of assessment

End-of-term test, 1 hour 30 minutes (15%)
End-of-year oral exam, 15 minutes (25%)
End-of-year written exam (60%)
