About this event

Hafiz Hamzah (Chief Editor) and Badrul Hisham (Content Editor)

Summary

Svara started out with the modest intention of being a platform to gather engaging written pieces in Bahasa Malaysia.  With a focus on longform writing, Svara collects compelling stories from the peripheries, and presents them in a medium long-considered dead—the print medium. Now entering its third year, the publication has carved its own path in the local literary scene, sharing essays, short stories and poems that illuminate a corner of Malaysiana that is rarely seen otherwise.
