Department of the Languages and Cultures of South East Asia The primary commitment of the Department is to teaching and research in four languages of their regions -Burmese, Indonesian/Malay, Thai and Vietnamese - and in their literatures, cinemas and associated cultures.
South East Asia collection in the SOAS Library The South East Asia & Pacific section includes publications on South East Asia as a whole (including material on ASEAN, APEC, the Pacific Rim and the Asia-Pacific region) and the individual countries and regions of South East Asia - Brunei, Burma (Myanmar); Cambodia, East Timor; Indonesia (including separate sections on Indonesian provinces); Laos; Malaysia; the Philippines; Singapore; Thailand; Vietnam.

Association of Southeast Asian Studies in the United Kingdom (ASEASUK) ASEASUK is the only national organisation of Southeast Asianists in the UK - and the only such national organisation in Europe. Most members are academics specialising in the region from more than 30 universities and covering a range of disciplines. But there are also postgraduate members of the Association as well as members from the business and diplomatic communities. A third of members are based outside the UK.
South East Asia Research South East Asia Research includes papers on all aspects of South East Asia within the disciplines of archaeology, art history, economics, geography, history, language and literature, law, music, political science, social anthropology and religious studies. Papers are based on original research or field work.
VietNam Journal Online quarterly magazine. The magazine is created to serve as a forum for students and scholars to present disciplinary and interdisciplinary research findings on a broad range of issues relating to Vietnam and Vietnamese overseas.
Institute of Southeast Asian Studies (ISEAS) A regional research centre dedicated to the study of socio-political, security and economic trends and developments in Southeast Asia and its wider geostrategic and economic environment.
