Centre for Translation Studies
SOAS Centre for Translation Studies is the only centre in the UK working on translation of non-European languages; 44 non-European languages are taught at SOAS.
Translation work is part of our student enterprise activities. Students in our MA Translation program (and staff) are happy to accept translation work, including charity and volunteer translations.
Amongst the language we offer are: Arabic, Chinese, Kikuyu, Korean, Japanese, Persian, Swahili, and Turkish, both from and into English.
