Examination Timetable 2020

The SOAS 2020 summer examination period for taught undergraduate and postgraduate modules will take place between Wednesday the 6th of May and Wednesday the 3rd of June 2020.

The final summer exam timetable will be available on the right hand side of this page once published. When checking the timetable for your exams, please check both the module title and the module code as there are a number of modules with similar titles.

You are required to read the 'Instructions to Candidates' which will be found on the right hand side of this page in full and to follow the instructions provided. Failing to follow these instructions may lead to an allegation of cheating or misconduct, which may result in disciplinary action being taken against you. Ignorance of the rules is not an acceptable defence.

Useful information:
  • if you are taking an intercollegiate module at another University of London college any examination may take place outside the dates above. Please contact the relevant college for advice about exam dates.
  • some assessments, such as oral examinations for language modules, music listening exams, and slide tests for History of Art modules may take place outside the main summer exam period. Please speak to the relevant module convenor or department office for further advice.

A personal exam timetable will be sent to your SOAS email address in early April 2020. This will indicate the date, time, duration and location of each of your examinations, together with your examination candidate number for 2020. The timetable will also detail any agreed special examination arrangements, if applicable.

Any enquiries about the exam timetable should be sent to exams@soas.ac.uk
