Booking your Graduation tickets
If you or your guests have special access needs, see our Access Guide.
Attendance at the Graduation Ceremony is free for eligible graduands but you must still book your place using the Ede and Ravenscroft booking website so that you are allocated a seat at the ceremony. In addition, graduands can purchase up to three guest tickets until 1 July 2016 (the deadline guaranteeing that you'll be allocated three guest tickets). After this deadline we will release any unsold extra guest tickets to those who have already booked. To avoid disappointment it is recommended you book as early as possible.
The ticket booking system will close on at midnight on Sunday 10 July 2016 (if tickets have not sold out before). If you have not booked your ticket by this deadline your name will not be read out at the ceremony. Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions.
If you are in your final year, you don’t have to wait for your results. You'll be able to receive a full refund if you or any of your guests are unable to attend. Please see our ticket policy on refunds.
We’ll ask you for your preferred name and a pronunciation guide when you book. Please let us know if you’d like to be called up by a shortened version of your name. Unfortunately, we can’t call you up by a name that doesn’t form part of your official name.
How much does it cost?
Tickets for graduands are free and £30 each for guests.
This includes entry to the reception after the Ceremony. You can get tickets for just the reception on the day for £15.
How many tickets can I book?
You can book places for yourself and up to 3 guests. If a ceremony has spare guest tickets available for sale on 1 July 2016 we will raise the guest ticket allocation and email graduands who have already purchased tickets to let them know. Any extra guest tickets will be sold via the Ede and Ravenscroft website until booking finally closes on 10 July 2016. Any guest tickets unsold or returned after this date will be available to purchase on the day of the ceremony on a first-come first-served basis.
For guests without seats in the main Graduation hall we’ll be showing the event by the video link in the Viewing Suite. You’ll also be able to buy separate tickets for the reception on the day. We can’t allow children under the age of 6 in the main Ceremony, but they’re welcome to sit in the Viewing Suite if they’re with an adult.

If you have bought your tickets and find that you are not able to attend and wish to cancel any or all of your tickets, you must request a refund via the Ede and Ravenscroft booking website. Requests received by 17:00pm (BST) on Friday 22 July 2016 will be refunded in full. After this deadline a 50% refund can be given as we will have included your booking to order catering and other provisions. All refund requests must be submitted by the end of July 2016.
