Coronavirus Advice for graduating students
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and Government advice to restrict large gatherings, SOAS has taken the difficult decision to change the delivery of our ceremonies scheduled for the 22nd - 24th July this year.
This decision is to ensure the health and safety of all students, guests and staff. We know this news will come as a disappointment to students, their families and SOAS staff.
Rest assured that the postponement of the ceremonies does not affect the award of a SOAS degree: all eligible students will still graduate. Although the physical ceremonies will not take place in July, degrees will be awarded at the end of that month as usual to all eligible students, and we currently hope to be able to send physical degree certificates in the month following.
Students who have already booked for their Graduation ceremony will now be able to cancel their gown hire or photography pre-order and receive a refund in accordance with our partner Ede and Ravenscroft’s standard Terms and Conditions.
To receive a refund you will need to either log in to the Ede and Ravenscroft website or phone their call centre on +44 (0)370 2421170.
