Updated 19 October 2018

55 students completed the FDPS programme in June 2018 out of 60 starters and the final grades were excellent all round, with 65% of students achieving a Merit or a Distinction, and just 3 Fails.

As a result of this fine performance, the students’ destinations are impressive with 27 students (exactly 50% of those progressing to degrees) taking advantage of the guaranteed conditional offers to secure places at SOAS on 17 different Master’s programmes ranging from MSc Finance to MA Buddhist Studies.

The most popular degrees at SOAS were MA Global Creative and Cultural Industries, MA International Studies and Diplomacy, MSc Finance, MSc Development Studies and also programmes related to art (history and contemporary) and museums.

In total, 70% of students could progress to the University of London, exactly a third (33%) to world top 200 universities and 100% to world top 500 universities. (Times Higher Education Rankings 2018)
