Information concerning the TOEFL test for entry (with compulsory FREE in-sessional English course) for 2015 academic year
According to UKVI guidelines, the TOEFL test is not acceptable for applicants who need a Tier 4 visa for entry into UK universities in 2015. TOEFL cannot be used as evidence of English proficiency in a visa application. The School therefore advises candidates to take the IELTS test of Academic English or the Pearson test of Academic English which are the two most acceptable SELTS. If you are living in a region where neither of these tests is available you are advised to contact firstname.lastname@example.org for further clarification.
Applicants from these countries do not require a visa and therefore have no stipulation to follow the entry requirements of UKVI. We therefore accept TOEFL tests for all EEA and non-visa nationals. For such candidates for entry with a free In-sessional requirement we ask for 105 overall in IBT TOEFL with at least 22 in each subscore, or 100 overall with at least 25 in the writing subscore and no less than 22 in other subscores.
