SOAS Centre of Korean Studies Scholarship 2019

The SOAS Centre of Korean Studies (CKS) will fund a scholarship in 2019 to any full-time MPhil student whose thesis topic focuses on any aspect of Korea. The value of the scholarship is worth £10,000. The deadline is 1 May 2019.

CKS (Centre of Korean Studies) Bursaries

The Korean Studies Fund (EKSF) will fund a number of CKS (Centre of Korean Studies) bursaries for students undertaking a full-time postgraduate Korean Studies programme. The total budget available is a maximum of £18,000. The value of each bursary is up to £6,000 for students classified as Oversseas for fee purposes and up to £3,000 for students classified as Home/EU for fee purposes.  The CKS are not available for 2019-20.

Sochon Foundation Scholarship

The Sochon Foundation has generously provided SOAS with scholarships for students undertaking a full-time post-graduate programmes in Korean Studies. The Sochon Foundation scholarship, valued at £7,000 in total is for tuition fees with the remainder, if any, for living costs.  This year's deadline is 1 April 2019.

Academy of Korean Studies Postgraduate Bursary

From 2007 to 2017 the Academy of Korean Studies (AKS) generously provided SOAS bursaries for students undertaking a full-time postgraduate Korean Studies programme.
