Mode of Attendance: Part-time

This course is designed for learners who are able to communicate about high level of language proficiency in order to handle the normal range of social and professional matters. Students are encouraged to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with native speakers. Also students will develop to understand a wide range of demanding and complex language structures, both spoken and written. This course is a logical progression from our Korean Pre-Advanced  level or a course of similar level.


The course is taught mainly in Korean and includes coverage of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing and a good balance between understanding the systems of Korean grammar and vocabulary, developing the skills of comprehending and producing Korean in speech and writing, guided practice in language usage and use and authentic communicative activities. A wide variety of interesting authentic reading and listening materials are introduced to help students achieve a high level of proficiency not only in interpersonal but also in interpretive and presentational communication. Class size is limited to fifteen to allow intensive interactive practice with individual feedback and advice on progress.
