Mode of Attendance: Part-time

The course consolidates Urdu grammar, vocabulary, literacy and speaking practice and is aimed primarily at those who have studied Urdu before (Urdu Beginners and Urdu Lower Intermediate). It involves the learning of complex structures and vocabulary encountered in technical and formal language whilst maintaining an emphasis on spoken communication and on listening and reading comprehension.

The course is taught in English and Urdu and includes coverage of the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing and a roughly equal balance between communicative activities, structure practice and grammar. Class size is limited to fifteen to allow intensive practice.
