Established in 2014, the SOAS Law Journal is an independent publication that is edited, reviewed and published by SOAS students and alumni.

Biannually published, it aims to publish articles of a diverse range of topics. Its goals are to provide SOAS Students, Faculty and Alumni a platform to publish their academic writing on a variety of topics, and facilitate discussion between practitioners, legal experts, students and academics across the world.

We are excited to contribute to SOAS’ continuing quest to stay as one of the world’s leading Institutions on Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and to celebrate 100 years of SOAS, The Law Journal is also launching a Blog alongside Volume 4, Issue 1, in January 2017. The Blog will publish short articles and legal based pieces on more relevant legal issues surrounding our world and the various international political, economic and social contexts that the law operates in.
