BLE for Staff
To log onto the BLE use either the link on the BLE front page of the website or directly via ble.soas.ac.uk and click on link on the top right. Log in using your SOAS ID (without the @soas.ac.uk) and usual password.
If you cannot login because your password is not working or you have forgotten it, please go to the IT Support Desk is now located in Library Reception (ground floor), you can find more information on the Quick Guide to IT Services for Staff or by calling +44 020 7898 4950.
To get access to the courses you are teaching or if you are the course convenor, you need to contact your Faculty Office; they are responsible for enrolling staff directly onto courses in the BLE. Once you have been enrolled in your course, you will be able to locate them under ‘My Home’ in the left hand navigation panel of the BLE.
If you are a GTA, make sure you provide your staff ID to your faculty office to get enrolled in the courses you are teaching as only people with a staff ID can be registered as teacher in the BLE.
Intellectual property is protected by copyright law. Copyright may be owned by students, staff, SOAS, external authors or publishers. When using the BLE, you must respect other people's copyright.
