  • Announcement of the winners of the “Jaleh Esfahani Poetry Prize”, for young Persian speaking poets
  • Talk by renowned Afghan poet, Reza Mohammadi, on ‘Contemporary Persian Poetry’ in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan
  • Solo acting satire by Hamid Abdolmaleki, theatre and TV actor, from the Netherlands, acting parts of the poetry play Moush-O-Gorbeh (Mouse and Cat), by the 14th century Persian poet and satirist Ubayd Zakani
  • Iranian music by “Ahoora Ensemble”, performing Iranian music, including Persian traditional, Kurdi, Azeri and Gilani songs

Please note all proceedings will be in Persian. Refreshments will be served before the start and during the interval when you will also be able to purchase Persian books and view the young poets’ poems exhibition.
