4. Chungjungmori

Chungjungmori = 12/8, faster than chungmori, and effectively halving all its values while retaining the same inner structure.

This was a movement where Kim was particularly renowned for adding rubato in a manner that displaced the rhythmic regularity, something that novice drum accompanists found particularly worrying, since the pace of the music had just picked up. While this represented artistic license, Lee Chaesuk, in keeping faithful to Kim's 'school', tend to retain a more strict pulse.
