SOAS first in UK for quality lectures in latest student survey

SOAS, University of London is first in the UK for quality lectures, ranked against 24 other universities, and first in the world, ranked against 47 other institutions, in the latest Student Barometer Autumn 2014, which surveys all domestic, international and EU students.

The international student barometer tracks and compares the decision-making, expectations, perceptions and intentions of international students from application to graduation. It has collected over 2 million students feedback to the survey worldwide across all student types, levels and years of study.

‘Student Engagement’ was ranked above the UK average with the survey highlighting students feel they more often analyse ideas and concepts in greater depth at SOAS. The School was also ranked second both in the UK and globally for its ‘Course Content’ and ‘Expert Lectures’, and first in both the UK and globally for its ‘Multicultural Learning Environment.

SOAS was also scored second in the UK and globally for ‘Arrival – making friends from other countries’ and also scored above the London average as a good place to be for international students.
