We are delighted to announce two post-doctoral fellowships as part of the European Research Council project "Multilingual Locals and Significant Geographies: For a New Approach to World Literature".
The Postdoctoral Fellow in English Literature in India and Indian literature in the English world will lead the research strand on English literature in North India and Indian literature in the English world, and undertake original research in one or more genres, authors, or problematics of English in India (with special focus on North India), and in the circulation and reception of Indian literature in the English world.
The Postdoctoral Fellow in the Literatures of the Maghreb will contribute to the research strand on Maghrebi literature: and undertake original research into one or more genres, authors, or problematics of Maghrebi literature (with focus on Morocco, Tunisia or Algeria, or a comparative approach across the region), and in the circulation and reception of Maghrebi literature in the Mashreq, and the rest of the world.
