The Department of Development Studies are pleased to announce that through a collaboration between SOAS and the Royal Geographical (with IBG) Society, one full scholarship will be awarded for a candidate studying for a full-time MSc in Development Studies at SOAS in the academic session 2017/18.
This Scholarship is part of the Migrants on the Margins Field Research Programme supported by the RGS (with IBG), with additional funding from the Economic and Social Research Council/DFID and Arts and Humanities Research Council. The research programme examines the experiences of people moving from rural areas into cities in four cities: Hargeisa (Somaliland), Colombo (Sri Lanka), Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Harare (Zimbabwe). The scholarship is valued at £16,500, including a 50% SOAS tuition fee waiver. Free accommodation will be provided by SOAS’s partner, International Students’ House. For full details and the Scholarship Application form, please see:
