SOAS University of London has risen 8 places in the QS world rankings 2019 released on Wednesday 6 June.
The School scored its highest marks in International Faculty and International Students, ranking it 17 in the world, and overall SOAS’s world ranking rose by eight places to 288.
QS look at over 1,000 institutions across the world in order to produce its rankings each year.
This follows news earlier this year where SOAS's ranking rose amongst the world’s elite institutions in the QS World University Rankings 2018 with four of its subject areas across a broad range of disciplines ranked amongst the world’s top 25.
SOAS was rated as 7th in London with the city rated as the best university city of 2018 according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which features cities with the highest concentration of elite universities.
