SOAS University of London’s Department of Music, the largest and leading centre in Europe for the study of world music, has announced its programme for the 2019/20 concert series.

This series brings together a range of established and up and coming international artists at SOAS. Performances this series include uniquely charismatic singer and songwriter Seby Ntege (18 October - pictured above); Amazonian choro masters Alvorada (1 November) Women of the Windrush which portrays inspirational narratives from the lives of a variety of women that migrated to the UK (8 November) and British born, vocalist, songwriter & actress Najma Akhtar with her unique Indo-Jazz hybrid (6 December)
