SCI member Zhaoxia Pang receives Outstanding Contribution Award

On 20 December 2021 a celebration for the 20th anniversary of the Chinese Bridge Competition was held by Centre for Language Education and Cooperation, Ministry of Education of China at Communication University of China in Beijing.
The Minister of Education of China Huai Jinpeng attended the celebration and delivered the opening speech.
Zhaoxia Pang , Senior Lector of the Department of East Asia Languages and Cultures at SOAS, was among the 20 people around the world who was chosen to receive “The Outstanding Contribution Award”. Zhaoxia’s contribution by coaching SOAS contestants to achieve consistently high standards in the competitions over the years is amazing:

Zhaoxia said that "I am absolutely thrilled to know this news and it is the best new year gift I have ever received.
