Faezah Manga, first year student in BSc Accounting & Finance has been nominated as one of the finalists in the Future Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Undergraduate of the Year Award.

Faezah is one of 10 finalists in the Future Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Undergraduate of the Year Award in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

The competition looks for commercially minded, entrepreneurial students who aspire to a career with impact. Selected from hundreds of applicants, these students are now taking part in a project for the final stage of the competition.

Ben Hardy Head of the School of Finance & Management , said:

"Faezah has done incredibly well to be one of the top students in the country and we’re very proud of her. We’ve always known our students are an impressive bunch, but it’s great to have this recognised externally. We wish her all the best for the next stage of the competition."

The award winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 29 April 2022.
