Theology and Religions ranked 3rd for research outputs

Theology and Religions at SOAS has performed exceptionally well in the 2021 Research Excellence Framework.

We have been ranked 3rd for research outputs and 7th overall. A considerable improvement from REF 2014.

Other highlights include:

  • For research environment, 85% is rated as 3* or 4* 
  • All impact case studies received 3*-4*
  • Ranked 14th in UK for research impact
