Despite spending millions, the International Criminal Court shed little light on the war crimes of Congolese militia man Germain Katanga, or properly compensated his victims. Meanwhile, the surprise that awaited Katanga on his return to the Congo has raised questions about the competence of the Court.

MILITIA MAN (1hr 15mins) is a documentary directed by Lisa Clifford, a journalist formerly of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, who has covered the International Criminal Court for more than a decade.

All are welcome and no registration is required. Wine and nibbles will be served after the event.
