The Registry is comprised of five teams under the leadership of the Academic Registrar:

If you need any type of student certification (student status letter, bank letter, visa letter, transcripts) or to speak to a member of Registry staff you can visit the Weston Student Hub on the lower ground floor of Senate House North Block. Alternatively you can contact the Registry using the details below.
In order to provide a better experience for staff and students SOAS is reorganising its academic structures. We have created 11 new Departments and plan to remove the Faculty layer of administration. 2017/18 is a transitional year in this process. Many processes and procedures will now be organised by your Department rather than by a Faculty, but the offices you need to visit and the staff you speak with will largely remain the same. Our academic regulations will not change until 2018/19, so for a few activities that require special permission you will need to get approval by someone representing the Faculty. Staff in your Department and in the Weston Student Hub will be able to assist you if you are unsure of who to speak to or where to go for assistance. Please speak to them as soon as possible if you have any concerns or questions and they will do their best to help.
