To learn about how social media could contribute to generate research impact as well as to provide evidence of impact
In this workshop we will be looking at social media and their potential- as well as challenges – in accelerating impact in academic research. We will discuss good and poor practices for Academics interested in using social media to communicate their research finding and engage with the wider public. We will look at how social media could contribute to generate impact as well as to assess and gather evidence of impact achieved. We will be looking at lessons learnt from REF 2014 in using social media as source of evidence of impact.
