AHRC/CHASE Collaborative Doctoral Award (CDAs) are doctoral studentship projects which are developed by a university based academic working in collaboration with an organisation outside of higher education.

Funding for Academic Supervisors:

CHASE-funded CDAs are open to academic supervisors at CHASE's member institutions to develop a project in collaboration with an organisation outside of Higher Education.

The deadline for academic supervisors to apply for a CDA is 23:59 on Monday 17th January 2022.

Funding for PhD Students:

Successful CDAs are live and advertised on the CHASE website.

UK and International PhD students can apply for a CDA which has been developed by an academic supervisor in collaboration with an organisation outside of Higher Education.
