Student Experience, Engagement and Retention

The Student Experience, Engagement & Retention (SEER) Team is part of the Directorate of Student and Academic Services (SAS) which is based on the vision to provide a holistic service and educative experience to all students and researchers from induction to student engagement and progression.

The Student Experience, Engagement & Retention Team incorporates the Student Hub, a team of Student Engagement Project Officers & the Retention and Success Team.

The Engagement Team

They work on a range of on-course projects and programmes to ensure students have a transformative experience whilst at SOAS.

The Student Experience Team

They are the first line of enquiry for students at SOAS and provides support and advice to ensure all students have an enjoyable journey during their time at SOAS.

The Retention & Success Team

They deliver of a range of projects and interventions which foster a sense of belonging and seek to improve the retention of our students.  You can find out more about these projects on our Success Team Site.
