Palestinian/British author and lawyer, Selma Dabbagh, will be discussing her debut novel, Out of It (Bloomsbury 2011), with author, academic and activist Karma Nabulsi. The evening will be introduced by Najwan Darwish - poet, editor and literary consultant for the Palestine Festival of Literature.

The Palestine Festival of Literature is an annual, travelling festival, now in its fifth year. In 2012 the festival will travel to Gaza for the first time. Admission is free, but donations to the festival are encouraged - every penny raised will go directly to supporting cultural and educational activities in Palestine. The writing is both literary and accessible, fast-paced, passionate, exuberant and heart-lurching.

We'll be hearing much more from Selma Dabbagh. (Robin Yassin-Kassab in the Guardian)
