Caspar Melville, Lecturer in Global Creative and Cultural Industries, will be speaking at HowTheLightGetsIn, the world’s largest philosophy and music festival, this May. Bringing together world-leading scientists, musicians, philosophers and politicians including Roger Penrose, Bernard-Henri Levy, Laurie Penny, Charlotte Church, George Galloway, David Nutt, Owen Jones, Katie Derham, Molotov Jukebox, Alexis Taylor, and Mr. Scruff for debates, talks, and wild parties, this year’s programme uncovers the new heresies that might become the truths of the future.

Caspar will be speaking on ‘The Death of Music’, and hosting ‘Blowing in the Wind’ and ‘The Laughing Philosopher’ with Tanya Gold, Penny Rimbaud, Julian Baggini, Andy Zaltzman, Julien Temple, and John Moore from The Jesus and Mary Chain. For more info head to
