Linda is a Senior Lecturer in International Business Management. She joined the DeFiMS from the University of Birmingham in September 2015. Her main research interests include decision-making, internationalisation of firms and management of international strategic alliances. She has published in Journal of World Business, Journal of International Management, Management International Review, R&D Management, and Technological Forecasting and Social Change.

Linda has two main areas of research interest:

Internationalisation of SMEs: From 2010 to 2012, Linda led a British Academy funded research project, focusing on the ties that UK and Taiwanese SMEs have with external networks and the contribution these make to opening new international markets. She is currently involved in a seven-nation project (SINET) investigating the internationalisation of SMEs, with particular reference to decision-making modes, sources of information and other support, and use of networks.

International strategic alliances: Post-formation dynamics in international strategic alliances, with particular reference to renegotiation, adaptation and change of governance/control in the post-formation period.
