Biography

My pronouns are he/him and I'm the Student Advice and Wellbeing department's Administrative Officer.

I identify as queer and working-class. I'm Irish/Italian, a cultural Catholic and originally from Blackpool.

Prior to working at Student Advice and Wellbeing, I worked in the Careers Service at SOAS as a CV, Application and Volunteering Advisor. I have previously worked for the NHS as an Pre-Degree Healthcare Assistant and within the third-sector, supporting young people with disabilities. I have an undergraduate degree in History of Art with Japanese from SOAS, and have postgraduate qualifications in Indian and Chinese Art.

I have a particular interest in social models of disability and mental health; LGBTQ+ inclusivity; issues of class/social mobility; and holistic approaches to health and wellness.
