Biography
Charlotte is interested in extractive and energy commodities, the state and late development. Prior to starting her PhD, Charlotte worked for an Engineering Consultancy on water and energy infrastructure projects as well as the World Energy Council (WEC) in London. Alongside her PhD has done consultancy work for the Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and works as a Research Assistant and Senior Teaching Fellow at SOAS.
PhD Research
My research looks into the nature and determinants of domestic production linkages from the oil and gas industry in latecomers, focusing on the experience of Malaysia.
