PhD Research

This doctoral research looks at the history of the principle of self-determination in Palestine during the British Mandate from a feminist legal perspective. In the thesis, I attempt to explore multiple dimensions of collective and individual self-determination drawing on women’s lived experiences of feminist activism, national struggle and anti-colonial resistance.
