Biography

Mimi is a corporate governance expert and sinologist specialising in UK and Chinese corporate law and governance.

She holds a PhD in corporate law and governance, with a focus on China, from SOAS. She is also a Fellow of the Governance Institute: ICSA.

Mimi has held a number of senior roles as a corporate and organizational governance expert advising listed companies and not-for-profits. She has held positions at Psion Plc, Paladin Resources Plc, and Manganese Bronze Holdings Plc and has provided corporate governance services to InterContinental Hotel Group plc, J Sainsburys plc and Ladbrokes plc.

Mimi is a Member of Council of the Royal Institute of International Affairs Royal Institute of International Affairs  (Chatham House). There she is a member of the Corporate Governance Working Group.

She has written both feature and technical articles on corporate governance practice. Mimi is proficient in written and spoken (Mandarin) Chinese, with conversational Yoruba and Hausa.
