Biography

Pierre is a tutor in Global Environmental Change and Sustainability, within the Centre for Development, Environment and Policy at SOAS, the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. The Module that he is tutoring aims at exploring the functioning and the interactions of the different Earth System spheres (such as the biosphere), as well as providing with environmental management technology and policy-based solutions. Pierre is also supervising dissertations on Climate Change adaptation and Food Security.

Pierre has gained experience in the fields of community resilience, adaptation, biodiversity conservation, at the crossroads of research, project management and international policy frameworks. He now works on agroecology, conservation and community development projects around the world in a social company based in France, and occasionnally gives lectures on climate change related international negotiations processes.
