Biography

Catherine Tuhirirwe is a PhD Researcher at the School of Finance and Management at SOAS University of London. 

She is currently a Teaching Fellow at SOAS University London and a Research Project Supervisor at Glasgow Caledonian University London. 

Her research interests are centered around Development finance, Debt management, Public investment, Infrastructural development, China in Africa, International Finance, Combating financial crime, Financial law, Management, and Education. 

Her current research project investigates the impact of Chinese investment loans on sustainable economic development in Africa: Case studies of Kenya, Senegal, Uganda, and Zambia. Catherine holds a Masters in Finance and Financial Law, also from SOAS, University of London.
