Her current research project examines representation and identity through the study of mobility and the performativity of food. Her work focuses on communicative and discursive practices around the production and consumption of Turkish, Kurdish and Turkish-Cypriot food in London. Her research interests also include Globalization, Nostalgia and Food; Food cultures in Cities; Foodscapes and Mobility.
