Laura El-Katiri

Laura El-Katiri is a Research Fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and Teaching Fellow in the Department of Financial and Management Studies at the School of Oriental African Studies, University of London. Her research focuses on energy and economic policy in the Middle East, with particular focus on the economies of the Arab Gulf countries and Iran. Her special interests include the management of natural resource wealth; oil-led development strategies and strategies for economic diversifications; energy pricing policies; the development of MENA oil and natural gas markets; and private company investment frameworks in the energy industry.
