Andrew Popham

Andrew Popham joined the Audit Committee in September 2012. He is a Reporting Panel Member of the Competition Commission and an external member of the Audit Committee of the National Trust. He is a chartered accountant and was a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from 1987 to 2012, most recently as Global Head of Compliance. From 2006 to 2010 he worked in Tokyo and Hong Kong as risk, quality and regulatory leader for PwC’s Asia-Pacific region. Before moving to Asia he was Vice President of FEE, the European Federation of Accountants, Chairman of the UK accountancy bodies’ European  Issues Task Force and a member of the UK Financial Reporting Review Panel. He was appointed to the Governing Body in August 2013
