Sena is a part-time PhD candidate at SOAS and human rights research consultant specialising in migration. Before starting her PhD Sena worked for a few years at Amnesty International's Secretariat in London in the Africa Programme. She had prior worked with several international organisations including the UNHCR and IOM and a variety of local grassroots organisations. Sena is originally from Italy but has spent most her life abroad. She has lived in Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, France, and the UK.
