Thesis title:
Cultural Hybridity on Thai Television Drama
Internal Supervisors

After completing my BA in Broadcasting from the Faculty of Communication Arts, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, and a few years of work experience in the communication field, I decided to pursue my MA study in Marketing Communication at the University of Westminster in the UK, where I worked on a project concerning branding Thai commercial and cultural products overseas.

Prior to joining SOAS, I was a lecturer in the department of Brand Communication, Bangkok University in Thailand. My research interests lie in cultural hybridity and cultural placement in mass media.

PhD Research

My current research aims to identify Thai contemporary identities and to explore how they have been exposed through Thai television drama.
